The Victoria Falls Steam Train Company was established in late 1996. It was a joint agreement between Zambia Railways and National Railways of Zimbabwe to allow a private operator to run historical excursions for tourists between Victoria Falls and Livingstone. The company has recently undergone remodelling and an exciting relaunch. Our refurbishments and upgrades add to our promise of creating exceptional experiences for all passengers and steam train enthusiasts alike.

We offer a variety of memorable trips across the historical bridge and into the neighbouring Zambezi National Park, all commencing from our base in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Marvel at the most spectacular sunset in Africa aboard our authentic steam train while indulging in gourmet food and chilled refreshments.
